About Me

 Hello, I’m Keri Anguiano! Quilting has been my creative heartbeat for over a decade. For me, it’s an art that stitches together joy, memories, and creativity. I proudly created Catching Stitches in 2013, where I write quilt patterns, curate special fabric bundles, and design fabric for Moda Fabrics. 

I draw endless inspiration from Southern California’s breathtaking landscapes—sun-kissed beaches, rugged mountains, and wild desert blooms. These vibrant backdrops spark ideas that I can’t wait to weave into patterns. My goal is to create designs that bring joy to fellow quilters and celebrate the beauty of life’s little moments. 

Beyond fabric and art, I cherish my roles as wife and mom to six amazing kids. They often join me in the studio, where chaos turns into cherished memories. I’m a sucker for wildflower meadows, chasing thunderstorms across the desert, and embracing nature’s adventures with my family.

 So here I am, intertwining life’s colorful patches: quilts, art, family, and the occasional lightning bolt—one stitch at a time. Join me on this journey; I promise it’ll be a beautiful one!
